Rick Dusek is a seasoned technology executive with more than two decades of leadership experience spanning healthcare, software engineering, and high-growth entrepreneurial environments. As Chief Technology Officer at Versatad, he leads the company’s technology strategy, product innovation, and engineering operations, driving the development of scalable, secure, and user-centric healthcare software solutions.

Rick is recognized for building and guiding high-performing, cross-functional teams and for delivering complex platforms that elevate clinical operations and improve patient outcomes. He has deep expertise across the Microsoft ecosystem, including .NET, Azure, C#, SQL Server, and enterprise-grade architectural patterns such as microservices, event-driven systems, and domain-driven design.

Throughout his career, Rick has overseen the successful delivery of mission-critical systems—including a next-generation EMR platform supporting rigorous HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST, FHIR, and SOC2 compliance. He is known for implementing strong development standards, advancing interoperability initiatives, and championing secure-by-design engineering principles.

Prior to joining Versatad, Rick held executive and senior leadership roles across multiple industries, including serving as Director of Software Development at Digital Medical Data Systems and President of HydroWave LLC., where he led a complete business turnaround resulting in the company’s acquisition. Across all roles, he has consistently demonstrated the ability to align technology vision with business goals, foster collaborative team cultures, and drive operational excellence.

Joe Novak is a graduate of the Dedman School of Law at SMU in Dallas, TX. Since 2012, he has been involved in many aspects of corporate law including contracts and negotiations, corporate governance, employment law, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, and providing counseling on the operational, strategic and regulatory aspects of the business. As the Senior Vice President of Versatad, he works closely with and helps coordinate the activities of many other departments, including business continuity, cybersecurity, and information security with the IT department, the development and implementation of employee and workplace policies and procedures manuals with the HR department, and taking part in the sales process.

Prior to attending law school, Joe worked as a management consultant for the Big Five firms PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst and Young, providing IT and business process improvement services to companies ranging from regional companies to international corporations.

Dale Stewart is an experienced IT leader with a strong background in supporting healthcare operations through secure, scalable, and resilient technology environments. Since 2015, he has managed complex domain, network, and cloud infrastructures while leading teams and initiatives that enhance both clinical and operational outcomes. His expertise spans cloud and application development, database administration across major platforms, and enterprise-level virtualization technologies. Dale works confidently across all platforms and technology stacks, overseeing network security, identity and domain management, data protection systems, and comprehensive IT support for diverse organizational needs.
